Changes

It's March! A lot has happened since my last blog entry. Biggest changes: JOB & Wish GRANTED - Big smile for that!

I wasn't really planning on looking for a job, i thought i could just take workshops, yoga and pilates classes for the mean time, but i came to my senses that it's better to get paid doing something. I started sending out my applications 2 weeks ago, then i got a call from a company, scheduled an interview and exam, took the exam and had the interview, passed the interview and exam, had another interview with an HR personnel, passed that interview, had another interview with the supervisor, passed that interview and finally, i was told to wait for their call to schedule another interview with their manager. Whew! Boy, that was a long process! I had fun though, the hardest part was the IT exam, it was a 65 item exam full of IT terms that i really had know idea about! hahaha :-) It was just a mandatory exam, it doesn't really affect my over-all score. After six hours in their office, i was finally able to go home and take another call from another company. They scheduled me for an interview the next day, went to that interview, took the exam, final interview and then the job offer. I was in a state of shock after that. I had no plans of signing a contract, but i did. hahaha :-) They had a good offer and the people were very nice. I was officially employed last Thursday, March 11, 2010. I prepared all the requirements the next day, Friday, that was a long day, i had to go around the metro just to get my TIN, SSS and medical exam. I'm almost done with everything. I'm currently in training. I am having a great time. I have new friends and learning a lot. I wake up at 4:30 in the morning everyday. Surprisingly, i'm getting used to it and not really having a hard time adjusting to the early start of my day. The evenings are harder because my eyes gets heavy at only 7 o'clock. So far, everything is going great in the career part. I still have a few documents to submit on Monday, no biggie, i got everything under control. :-)

Now, i'm waiting for my mom to go online and tell her all the details of my two weeks career hunting. I wasn't able to talk to her last week because i got too lazy to go online. I got addicted to playing sims and ignored her. BAD!!! I'm going to make-up for it this evening. So, mom..Please go online now! :D Til next time. I'm going to look for pictures now for this post!

Hello there! It's been a while since my last entry. I've been busy with all kinds of stuff last month, but i'm back to being the "me" after my last day in school. I'm actually enjoying doing nothing for the mean time. I like to be able to watch dvds, read books and do things whenever and wherever. Sometimes, i do get bored and wish i could ask my friends out for a cup of coffee, but i know most of them are working and busy with their own shindigs.

Well, here's what i've been up to in the last couple of weeks. I had my birthday last week. I'm twenty-two now, but still feel the same. No party,i just went out with my best friend. I had lunch with my family this weekend though, i had so much fun!!! I miss them a lot, especially my little cousins who are not little now, by the way! They grow up so fast which probably means i have to catch up to them with the growing up part. :-)

I forgot to mention that i'm back in MANILA. I don't know if i'm excited to be back, but i'm here! hahaha :D

It was also my grandfather's 1st death anniversary last Tuesday. Whew, time really flies. We miss you Tatay!

I spent my weekend in the south at my Uncle's house in Cavite which was so much fun! I had time to bond with everyone there whom i haven't seen in months. By the way, my Tita A., who i visited in Davao is here in Manila for a month now. She flew here weeks before i got back. It's a long story, well, it's not, but i'll let her tell you the story, she'll probably blog about it in the next few days when she gets back to Davao.

This entry is so scattered, but whatever! It's one in the morning anyway, i've got an excuse. ;)

Davao Update

Before i came to Davao, Tita A. always bring Nanay to People's park for her daily dose of morning sun and exercise ( Nanay's exercise routine consists of flapping her hands in the air and walking around a tree for 2 mins :D). When i arrived i decided to join them in the park. We've only been there once last week because of the maintenance the management was doing after the holidays. It had been raining in Davao since yesterday so, we haven't walked around the park so far this week. There are a lot of interesting sculptures and fauna in the park which makes exercising easier.

Trivia: Nanay haven't gone around the park yet, she always stays in the middle near the benches. She's been going to People's Park almost everyday every time she's in Davao.

Blugre coffee with Tita A. and Ate Gaga. Davao doesn't have Starbucks. It was my first time to try Durian coffee, it wasn't bad, in fact i kinda liked it! :) Thanks Ate Gaga for the treat. Can't wait for Next time. hahaha :D Kidding!

With ate Hannah at a coffee shop in front of the park waiting for Kuya Kai before her check-up with the Ob-gyne. Last week was pretty busy with all the Doctor's appointments and Lab tests. By the way, i haven't announced that i'm going to be an Aunt soon. Yahoo.. My first ever nephew and sister-in-law. Whew! Time really flies. The surprise of the year was announced by Kuya Kai during our New Year celebration ( click HERE, to see the video), it came as a shock to everyone but a baby is always a blessing.

The pictures were taken at an inn and gasoline station in Davao. (December 30).These were taken after Tita A. and I shot our cooking video in the house and had to do some errands before we watched a movie with Nanay, the boys and Tita Gaga. I was happy that Kuya Kai was able to join us. He was and still is busy with work so I haven't spent time with him since i arrived in Davao. Looking forward to tomorrow for another beautiful day.

Happy New Year

I don't have a holiday that i look forward to, but i secretly wish to spend all of it with my loved ones. I was really looking forward to celebrating the New Year because i would be with my family here in Davao. It definitely made the list of my top favorite holiday celebrations.

We spent the whole day preparing for midnight. Tita A. was in charge of the cooking while i did the poster and collage of pictures of the family through the years. The boys were helping here and there while Nanay did her thing. ;)

We took tons of wacky group pictures and those above were some of the best ones.

I wish you were here, mom. I miss you.
